In addition, the anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt have been shown to effectively treat conditions of the skin such as eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.”

Not only is this treatment great for adults, it is also effective for children. The Salt Room® Oviedo has a room dedicated to children! Colorful and peaceful, I personally want to live in this room!

Felicia: Wellness spa featuring salt therapy, infrared sauna, and massages.

Tiffany: What made you decide to start your business?

Felicia: I’ve had respiratory issues my entire life. In later years, it became chronic bronchitis and sinusitis. I was living on antibiotics and was seeking a holistic solution. I was grateful to have found salt therapy. After being a client in our sister location in Orlando for 6 years, my husband encouraged me to open my own. With the help of our partners, my dream of bringing hope and relief to others became a reality.

Tiffany: Where do you see your business in 5 years?

Felicia: We would love to be a household name here in Oviedo, being known as the place to go for overall wellness and stress relief.

Tiffany: Who are you besides business owner?

Felicia: One half of the happiest and most grateful couple we know. A constant learner, a seeker of alternative health therapies, a sister, daughter, auntie, and a world traveler who appreciates the road less traveled.

Tiffany: What are you most proud of in your life?

Felicia: That I took the time to find my soulmate. There were many shiny objects thrown my way over the years, yet I finally struck gold when I found him.

Felicia: I encourage everyone to seek out holistic and alternative therapies. Do the research and be your own champion. Know what you are putting in your body. Choose organic and natural products when you are able. We only get one life, make it amazing!
